Going to the Oceanside pageant was so spontaneous, but still something that I truly enjoyed. After lifeguard training all that day, my friend Rory and I quickly went back to my house to put on our clothes and makeup. Then we rushed over to El camino High School to watch the pageant. Because I am queen, I was able to sit in the " Visiting Queens" section-and haf my name announced. When they called me, I stood up and shook my hand around, waving at the crowd. It was an amazing moment. To have all eyes on me, and to realize that I am an ambassador for the entire state. There were other queens there too, and I got to talk with them during the intermission, and took pictures as well. Even after the pageant was over, I then was able to go up on s tage and take pictures the new queens and courts of Oceanisde. Being able to do something like that, was so much fun-I cannot wait for my next event!
